The Southeastern Cotton Ginners Association is a regional organization that represents and supports cotton ginners across the Southeastern United States through advocacy, education, and industry resources.
Our Background
The Southeastern Cotton Ginners Association was established in 1970 through the merger of several regional organizations, including the Georgia Ginners Association, the Carolinas Ginners Association, and the Alabama Ginners Association. Since then, and in close partnership with our sister organization, Southern Cotton Growers, we’ve expanded our reach to represent nearly every cotton ginner across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
We support our members on a wide range of critical issues such as employee safety, transportation and trucking, wage and hour regulations, immigration, air quality, and more. We advocate on behalf of our members before key regulatory agencies and provide hands-on compliance support through newsletters, seminars, and training materials designed to keep ginners informed, safe, and operating efficiently.
